Roles & responsibilities
conduct morning and evening safety meetings.
orientate all incoming personnel and keep current personnel on board list.
make frequent walk a rounds looking for any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts. Make sure there are no trip hazards
perform rig audits
perform hazard hunts and track action items of equipment that need repair.
track all hot work permits.
track all observations that are turned in and trend stats.
track and discuss any stop work incidents.
participate in all emergency drills and respond to level of training.
document all well control drills and archive for possible government inspections.
observe daily activities making sure rig personnel are follow company policies and procedures.
participate in all government and regulatory rig site inspections. Monitor any actions items that are a result of the inspection.
participate in incident investigations & root cause analysis reports.
Requirements:
Must be a paramedic
must live in west Texas / east New Mexico
must have at least 10 years of hse experience .
