Paramedic Clerk - Gulf of Mexico

Description
Remote Paramedic/Clerk Position in the Gulf of Mexico providing clerical support to the customer. Will be reporting data entry, cost tracking, etc. Will also provide as needed clinical and emergency medical coverage and support on customer location.

Duties:
Work with customer reps to provide clerical services as needed (data entry, personnel tracking, logistics coordination, cost tracking, etc.); maintain good rapport with customer; maintain medical inventory and provide medical support as needed.
Completes extensive written documentation on patient condition and treatment provided. Follows
HIPPA privacy guidelines and Total Safety policies & procedures. Maintains accurate patient records for all patients for emergency or non-emergency care. Maintains direct contact with TS Medical Director in all cases.
Maintains medical supply inventory to assure proper levels for patient care. Maintains a current copy of Total Safety Medical Guidelines on location. Maintains narcotics under controlled security.
Completes any and all company paperwork required by the job.

Requirements
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
A minimum of 2 years direct advanced life support experience working for an advanced life support EMS in a progressive 911 setting, or a Remote Medical setting.
Experience with computers, Word, Excel, Windows, e-mail.
Certifications as stated below.

Licenses/Certifications
National Registry of EMTs - Paramedic level certification , state of residence Paramedic level certification, current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), current certification in Advanced cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) also acceptable.
OSHA Safety, Fall Protection, HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer), Certified Rigger/Competent Rigger, HUET (Helicopter, Underwater Egress Training), Safe Gulf, and/or IADC Rig Pass preferred but not required.
TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) preferred not required.
