JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are now seeking an experienced Offshore Paramedic who possesses a passion for remote work and high quality care to join our Site Services team on Full-time basis, FIFO 2:2;2:4. In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of professional and efficient emergency services such as patient support and injury treatment/management.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Emergency response;
  • Emergency primary care of injured workers;
  • Documentation and patient contact / emergency care management;
  • Assisting travel of staff to and from offshore vessels
  • Training and development of site personnel;
  • Drug and Alcohol testing
  • Reviewing and updating safety and health procedures.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicants will be flexible, dynamic and work well in a team environment. You will have demonstrated experience working offshore in a similar capacity, excellent organisational skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
You will also require:
  • Bachelor of Paramedical Science or equivalent
  • Helicopter operations experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an offshore medic environment or similar role
  • Possession of TBOSIET
  • Current ALS/MSIC
  • Experience with rescue and extrication techniques
  • Advanced trauma management/PHTLS
