Safety Management Systems, one of the largest providers of Health, Safety, Environmental, Medical and Training services to the Upstream, Midstream, Refinery and Petrochemical markets, is currently seeking Safety/Medics for drilling and construction operations to join our team.
Job Summary:
Promote, establish, communicate, and implement safety expectations and initiatives; monitor and stimulate execution with contractor's safety policy, rules, and procedures; and monitor conformance with project and site safety execution plans and implement improvements where appropriate.
Provide appropriate, efficient, and timely pre-hospital Advanced, Intermediate and Basic Life Support care to the sick and injured, offshore and in the industrial environment in accordance with local, state, national, international and SMS standards of practice.
Qualifications:
State of Ohio Paramedic Certification (Current)
BLS and ACLS Certification (Current)
Minimum 3- 5 years' experience in a Drilling/Construction Safety role within the upstream oil and gas industry.
Must be knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and experienced in EHS Management systems.
Must be able to work a 14/14 rotation, weekends, holidays and callouts.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must possess the ability to write simple correspondence or reports and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees and/or managers.
