The FPSO Raroa and Tiro Tiro Moana WHP (locates approx. 80 km off the South Taranaki coast, New Zealand) are owned by OMV New Zealand Limited since early March 2013. At the same time MODEC Management Services Pte, Ltd has been engaged as the Operations and Maintenance services contractor for the FPSO as well as the WHP with initial period of 05 years with the option of another 5 years.
MODEC provides complete engineering, construction, installation, leasing and operations services for floating offshore oil and gas production facilities (FPSO, FSO, and TLP) around the world.

The Medic/ HSSE Coordinator shall be responsible for all medical and medical lifesaving equipment on board the Maari Field facilities (FPSO Raroa and Tiro Tiro Moana Well Head Platform). Maintaining life savings equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company Safety/ Operations Management Systems.
He/ She is also required to assist the Facilities Manager in the management of HSSE on board including, but not limited to, helicopter operations, maintaining Person on Board (POB) records and performing administrative duties as required.
Requirements
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate strong commitment to safety, health and the environment. In addition he/ she must:
• be a Registered Nurse or Paramedic or equivalent.
• has minimum of 5 years’ experience as either Paramedic or Nurse in a military, ambulance, trauma or emergency ward environment.
• has knowledge and experience in the field of Health, Safety and Environment as applies to the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
• utilise best practice and competence in operating medical, lifesaving equipment.
• has good personal, interpersonal skills and has the ability to work as part of a small multi-disciplined team and positively motivate others.
Candidate with NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or Equivalent is preferred.
