Job Description

Medic / SOHO
Medical or Nursing Degree or Certificate
Medical Officer, or Registered Nurse, or Hospital Assistant, or military medical corpsman
Approximately 8 to 10 years relevant field or practical experience in a practical environment. Prefer some experience within trauma / accident & emergency units.
Knowledge of management of field hospital, drugs inventory, ability in diagnosis of medical conditions, dispensing of drugs
Occupational Health background and / or previous offshore, oil & gas work assignment is advantageous Accountable and responsible to Vessel Master:
To manage healthcare of personnel onboard the vessel and the work area.
To manage medical emergencies
To manage field hospital and its inventory of equipment and drugs
To perform health surveillance and maintain health information on personnel onboard
To conduct health inspections of company facilities
To conduct health talks for personnel
