We are currently looking for an Offshore Medical Services Quality Services Advisor to join our business in Westhill on a maternity cover contract. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all Offshore Medics logs are of the appropriate Abermed and International SOS compliance standard. The main purpose of the position is to review and audit all Offshore Medics logs, end of trip reports and be able to perform quality control audits of offshore installations as well as be integral to the recruitment and training of the offshore medic workforce.

Travel offshore will be required for this position.
Key responsibilities:

• Examination of Offshore Medics logs with referral to the Chief Medical Officer or Offshore Medical Director
• Examination of Offshore Medics end of trip reports
• Performs quality audits of offshore installations
• Assists with recruitment and induction of new Offshore Medics
• Assists with the ongoing training, development and assessment of Offshore Medics
• Assists in development of Offshore Medic protocols and procedures

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Must be a Nurse or HSE Medic currently registered with the NMC or relevant professional body
• OGUK Medical examination
• HUET/BOSIET
• Knowledge of the Offshore Medical environment, ideally with previous experience of assessing the competence of Offshore Medics
• Excellent written and oral English Language
• Quality orientated
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
