Petrofac is recruiting Medic / HSE Coordinators to join the FPF-1 Floating Production Vessel

Ahead of its deployment to the Central Sector of the North Sea, our FPF-1 Floating Production Vessel is currently undergoing its final stages of refurbishment in the Remontowa shipyard in Gdansk, Poland.

With a projected minimum 15 years life of field and mobilising direct from Aberdeen, the FPF-1 will receive and process approximately 30,000 barrels of oil and 90 million standard cubic feet of gas per day from the Greater Stella Area development, comprising three North Sea fields - Stella, Harrier and Hurricane.

The Role:
We require Medic / HSE Coordinators to join an exciting project on a 3 week on, 3 week off shift pattern. The role will initially be based in the Remontowa yard during the remainder of the
commissioning phase, before being deployed to the North Sea. The Medic / HSE Coordinator will ensure the provision of the emergency medical facility and the management of general health and well being of personnel. They will advise and monitor occupational health, hygiene, safety and environmental quality matters.

Specific duties include:
• providing accident and emergency service for all offshore personnel
• coordinating and administer medical evacuation to onshore
• maintaining records of all accidents/ Incidents and accurate and confidential medical documentation
• administering and maintaining sickbay facility, and medical stores
• carry out health and hygiene audits on KLB as required
• advertise ‘Safety’ as our priority within the platform operations at morning huddles, etc to maintain a high level of awareness from personnel.
• ensure regular plant visits and worksite conversations encourage safe working practices.
• carry out heli admin duties if back up cover is required
• be a key member of the permit planning process to ensure that OCC health issues are captured in the safe system of work

The ideal Medic / HSE Coordinators will have extensive experience in a similar job position offshore. A CAA radio certification is required and NEBOSHH would be an advantage.


Essential Certificates:
• current valid HSE Offshore Medic Certificate

AND one of the following:
• Registered Nurse (Adult) with NMC current registration, a suitable portfolio and prior offshore experience
• Royal Navy/ Royal Marines/ Royal Fleet Auxiliary Medic who has attained the rank of Leading Hand/ Corporal & a suitable portfolio with prior offshore experience
• Army Medical Assistant (CMT1, RMA1) or RAF Medical Assistant – who has attained the rank of Corporal & a suitable portfolio with prior offshore experience
