International SOS is the world’s leading provider of global medical assistance, international healthcare and security services. Their unique expertise enable organisations to manage the health risks facing their international travellers, expatriates and global workforces.
Their International Medical Services work with leading oil and gas corporations in assessing the health risks of their onsite employees working in remote offshore environments. Each offshore clinic provides both primary and emergency healthcare services to the client’s onsite employee population. Due to continued growth International SOS (our principal) is seeking experienced Offshore Doctors for current and future requirements across a range of jack-ups, semi submersible, oil platforms, drillships and seismic vessels which are deploying from key locations around the world.
Each offshore clinic provides routine consultations and emergency presentations to the onsite employees, medevac support coordinated by International SOS’s network of Alarm Centres, first aid training and health and safety inspections.
There are a range of permanent rotational positions allow you to continue to live in the Philippines whilst working a fixed rotation, flying in and out of your site of assignment. International SOS coordinates the flights and travel to and from site for each rotation and provide onsite accommodation and facilities.
All locum assignments range from 2-8 weeks dependant on staffing movements within the remote site clinics. International SOS coordinates coordinate the flights and travel to and from site for the duration of the assignment and provide onsite accommodation and facilitates.
The person:
* Full registration to practice medicine in the Philippines
* Four years plus experience gained within primary and emergency medicine
* Previous offshore medical experience is highly advantageous
* Valid ACLS certification
* Current seaman’s book and SRC
* BOSIET or HUET certification is highly advantageous
