Location: Jurong Island,
Key Objectives:
The Medic shall provide first aid, medical services for the crew on the installation and secretarial support to the OIM and the Offshore HSE Supervisor
Dimensions:
• Provide clerical support to OIM and Offshore HSE Officer
• Provide medical support to facility’s crew and client personnel on board.
• Provide guidance to the crew in matters pertaining to Occupational Health and Hygiene on the facility.
• Is deemed by position to ensure that compliance to the company CAMS is followed.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
• 3 - 5yrs experience in Health Care Services/Hospital in the capacity as Medic or in an Emergency Medical Unit.
• Experience in offshore hospital preferably from an FPSO, oil rig, or sailing vessel preferred.
CERTIFICATION / LICENCE GUIDELINE
• State Registered Doctor / Medic
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
• BOSIET/BOSIET-T as applicable
• Medic should pass training in ACLS (advance cardiac life support) and ATLS (advance trauma life support) or similar courses. Both courses have validity for 2 years.

• Operate and maintain the facility medical and First Aid facilities in accordance with appropriate legislation, and keep records accordingly.
• Lead the First Aid Team in the Emergency Management Organization.
• Administer First Aid and other medical treatment to personnel when so required.

Maintain records of injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences.
• Update monthly medicine and equipment inventory lists and prepare order for on-going demands.
• Train relevant crewmembers in First Aid, arrange and train stretcher team.
• Conduct First Aid drills through the guidance of Offshore HSE Officer.
• Maintain daily and monthly records of fresh water analyses
• Daily POB and accommodation allocation administration .administration.
• Helicopter passenger booking and liaison with the Materials Coordinator.
• Act as Radio Operator during Helicopter Operations.
• Carry out admin tasks as directed by the OIM and the Offshore HSE Officer.
• Carry out additional relevant tasks as required by the OIM and the Offshore HSE Officer.
• Provide information and advice on occupational health and hygiene matters, and carry out weekly hygiene inspections and assessments as required.
• Carry out safety induction briefing for all incoming and outgoing passengers in conjunction with the Offshore HSE Officer.
• Segregate and safely store medical waste according to international requirements.
• Maintain medical certificates and records of the facility personnel.

• Twelve (12) years of education
• Higher National Diploma / Diploma in Nursing or Paramedic course
