Offshore Medic
Location: Breda Netherlands
Rate: €150 - €300 per day
You go from one adventure to another. Staying abroad in Kuwait and then off to the Gulf of Mexico: it all happens with the contractor at sea. Especially attractive is the open working environment where initiative and independence are highly appreciated.
We are recruiting for a medic for our client on board one of their vessels you will work as a Logistics Crewing employee assisting our crewing department and be the medic on board.
Your day to day duties will include;
*assist the crewing department at the headquarters with the organisation and coordination of the personnel activities of the employees on board of the vessels
*are able to assist in estimating the skills of the crew and help in the efficient planning on a formal and informal manner
*you will be responsible for maintaining the sick bay and associated first aid equipment, further you establish and maintain medical stock
*shall provide for first aid assistance for all those resident onboard / on site, and should be able to resuscitate and stabilise a patient prior evacuation
*carry out safety inductions
*carry out daily inspections in the food preparation areas and galley
*promote awareness of waste segregation, prevention of spills, energy and emission to air
You need the following qualifications to be a Logistics Crewing employee / Medic:
*have a bachelor thinking level;
*speak and write fluent English;
*HSE Offshore Medic certificate (or willing to obtain the certificate);
*relevant experience as a military medic, nurse or trained paramedic
*have the Spanish nationality
*take responsibilities, be focused on achieving results, be proactive and enterprising;
*be representative, strong communicator, problem solving and have a flexible attitude.
