Petrofac is recruiting a Medic on our CNR assets

The Role:
We are recruiting a Medic on our CNR assets working a 3/3 rotation. The Medic will provide emergency medical care to all platform personnel on a 24/7 basis.

Specific duties include:
Undertaking OGUK Medicals and ERT Medicals offshore in line with the requirements of the business and following guidelines as laid down in OGUK Medical Aspects of Fitness for Work Offshore: Guidance for Examining Physicians, Issue 6, March 2008. Also performing Face Fit testing as required
Monitoring delivery of all Occupational Health and hygiene issues on a day to day basis and in any emergency situation
Providing a focal point for all platform Occupational Health activities, verify compliance with occupational health policies and further develop the system-based processes necessary to support proactive occupational health management
Acting as focal point for incident investigation and reporting of all first aid injurious incidents with low potential
Maintaining emergency medical equipment and pharmacy on the platform, monitoring all medications and substances brought onto the platform
Providing training for ERT and first aid teams in emergency response procedures and delivery of first aid including use of all platform emergency equipment
Assisting with compliance with the Noise at Work Regulations, Control of Vibration at Work Regulations and COSHH Regulations
Providing SHEA and administration support when required

The successful candidate must have offshore experience in the Medic role and will be one of the following:

A Registered Nurse Adult, who will appear on the NMC Register
A RMN with other nursing qualifications, (RGN or EN), who appear on the NMC register
A Naval /Royal Marine Medical Assistant, who has attained the rate of Leading Medical Assistant/Corporal and above
An Army Medical Assistant (CMT1, RMA1), who has attained the rank of Corporal and above
A RAF Medical Assistant, who has attained the rank of Corporal and above
A Paramedic, who is on the HCPC Register
