Offshore Malaysian Doctor
Location: Offshore Malaysia

Contract: July – 4 months
Rotation: Regular rotations: up to 6 weeks on: 6 weeks off
Job Role:
We are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Malaysian Doctors to support a remote offshore operation in offshore Malaysia from July for a 4 month project. Applicants must have received training and gained clinical exposure to RSI techniques within the last 12 months.
Duties include primary healthcare, emergency medical response, First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating. The successful candidate will also be capable of performing patient assessment, examination and reporting in accordance to international standards, responsible for health and hygiene inspections and advising on other safety issues, in addition to general administration and computer based reporting.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Doctor qualification
Current license to practise in Malaysia
3 years’ experience within an emergency/trauma unit or similar setting
Experience with internationally recommended emergency medical equipment
Familiar with OSHA guidelines
Offshore survival certificate
Advanced cardiac certificate
Advanced Trauma certificate
Medical fitness certificate to work offshore
High levels of health and fitness
Computer literate.
