Location: IndiaSpecific responsibilities of the Barge Doctor include, but are not limited to, the following:-
Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established safety standards and work practices.
Following all company policies and procedures.
Wearing, inspecting, caring for and replacing required personal protective equipment.
Providing medical treatment to any personnel on board who are sick or injured.
Making recommendations regarding the medivac of personnel and assist in their transport onshore as necessary.Maintaining medical records of all treatment provided to sick or injured personnel.
Ordering medical supplies and ensuring that sufficient stocks are maintained.
Ensuring that a Drugs Log Book is maintained.
Overseeing any reports on condition of sanitation, food stores, food preparation and hygienic conditions of the vessel.
Assisting the Safety Officer on board in cases of accident investigation.
Any other duties as may, from to time, be assigned by the Barge Superintendent.
