Location:  Ventura, CA USA/Offshore

We are looking for skilled and qualified individual to join our team to help increase compliance while maintaining the effectiveness of quality medical care on an offshore platform by establishing and following Cal OSHA and OSHA standards with technical knowledge of gas detection, breathing air equipment and safety compliance.

The qualified personnel for this position will perform and oversee all daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections of all platform breathing air cascade equipment, self contained breathing apparatus(SCBA) and emergency eyewash shower stations. Candidate will conduct safety audits, perform safety meetings and H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) training for onboard platform personnel.

The qualified candidate will oversee and schedule all personnel boarding and de boarding offshore platform, schedule and maintain manifest of products coming aboard platform while assisting with the rigging and pre rigging of containers when working with crane operator.

EMT responsibilities, must respond quickly to emergency calls, assess patient condition and make critical caredecision quickly. Handle non-medical situations in a timely manner and collect pertinent patient care information and transfer that data to a medical professional based on medical state guidelines. Complete paperwork in legible handwriting for all patient calls, maintain a running inventory of medical supplies.

Candidate must be able to remain calm and deliver quality care in high pressure situations and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have current California State EMT License , California State Drivers License.

Computer skills a must Microsoft, Word, Excel

Minimum 2 years experience preferred
