Essential
Bachelor of Paramedicine, or equivalent
Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Paramedic with AHPRA

Significant clinical experience commensurate with the role in any of the following settings: Primary Health Care, Emergency Care, Occupational Health or Defence
Minimum of 250 hours relevant clinical experience in one or more of the above settings in the past 12 months.
Experience working with minimal supervision in a multi-disciplinary and team environment demonstrating initiative and flexibility in an environment subject to pressure and change
Eligible to obtain relevant security clearances
Previous remote medical experience


Desired

Demonstrated IT literacy including experience using a range of IT and clinical management systems.
An understanding of contemporary health issues, including the importance of responsiveness, accessibility, accountability and advocacy and open disclosure in service delivery.
Demonstrated experience in the management of pharmaceutical\consumable stock control
High level interpersonal and communications skills.
​​​​​​​EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED:

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor of Paramedicine, or equivalent
Valid National Police Clearance (within 6 Months)
Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
OPITO BOSIET with CEBAS
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
Minimum 20 hours CPD completed in the past 12 months
ACLS and ATLS in the last two years
Experience working in offshore and remote Australia (preferred but not essential for most locations)
BLS and CPR
Additional skills and qualifications may be required depending on your specialty.
