Location: Offshore, Suriname
Offshore Medical Doctor required to support an environmental survey project for 21 days offshore Suriname.
As the project Medical Doctor, you will be required to:
Lead onboard Medic and ensure assessment, and immediate emergency medical care of serious illness or injury
Ensure consultation with onshore Doctors for effective emergency evacuation when required
Responsible for issuing medicines, keeping medical stocks and maintaining medical reports
Requirements
Valid professional registration/license with the relevant regulatory body in the host country e.g., registered as a Medical Doctor in Trinidad and Tobago
Valid practicing certificate with the relevant regulatory body e.g., Annual Practicing Certificate from the Host Country Ministry of Health
Minimum five (5) years of working experience post graduation with Minimum of one (1) year experience in an emergency unit, trauma unit or similar settings within last the three (3) years
Valid certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BCLS & ACLS) Training
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or equivalent is strongly recommended
BOSIET/FOET/ OGUK Medical
Preferably has offshore working experience
