Medical Officer (Offshore )

Employer: McDermott Location: Offshore Job Description Term of Employment: Approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension The Medical Officer responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Day to day medical care of all person on board and on site first aid care for casualties resulting from accidents. Overall hygiene quality control of the vessel. Sampling and testing of potable water. Arranging first aid exercises and lectures. Consulting with HSES Manager/ HSES Advisor to arrange training presentations. Maintaining medical inventory with respect to supply, stock expiry dates, governmental regulations and first aid boxes. Recording and controlling of COSHH register. Familiarity with sections and/or procedures, which are applicable for function, as per vessel manuals, including Company procedures and Safety Management System, when applicable to duties.

Employer: Petrofac Location:  UK-Offshore-CNR - Ninian Central Platform Petrofac is recruiting a Medic on a staff basis Since the mid 1990’s, Petrofac has provided Operations Support services to CNR’s Ninian, Murchison and Tiffany fixed installations in the UK Continental Shelf. The Role: We require a Medic to work offshore on one of our CNR Assets, working on a 3/3 rota flying via Scatsta. The Medic will provide routine and emergency care to all platform personnel and act as focal point for all platform Occupational Health activities. Specific duties include: undertaking OGUK Medicals and ERT Medicals offshore monitoring delivery of all Occupational Health and hygiene issues on a day to day basis and in any emergency situation maintaining emergency medical equipment on the platform as per Medics Standing Orders
